Loch Nesz is another interesting band hailing from Hungary. They have just released a 3 track Ep, you can either download it for free or buy it online.
The band was formed in the summer of 2011. Since then, Loch Nesz have been giving concerts in Budapest and in other Hungarian cities. Their music is mainly influenced by Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys, but they are also inspired by other Celtic/Folk bands like Alestorm, The Real McKenzies, Korpiklaani or Paddy And The Rats. Their shows so far have featured Irish folk dancers, the blazing Jolly Roger and a (continuously expanding) variety of authentic instruments. If you come to see them, be prepared for one hell of a party!
Members:
Kristóf László – lead vocals & guitar
Marcell Endrey – accordion & keyboards
Gergely Kofrán – violin & tin whistle
István Murányi – bagpipe & bass
Péter Kun – guitar & bass
László Somogyi - drums
"The Monster's Close" EP is available for purchase via iTunes and other major online music stores.
You can still download it for free, buying their music is only an option for those, who would like to support the band.
