"Made up of musicians from Ireland & Sweden, SIR REG is a band that took a long time in the making. For many years under the name The Barcrawlers, the core of the band gigged it's ass off all over Scandinavia playing Irish pub songs at every venue imaginable. We'd felt we had achieved everything we'd set out to achieve as a "pub band" so decided it was about time to start making music that we ourselves wanted to make. Therefore, armed a bunch of original compositions we decided to hit the studio and create something we would be proud of. Music we ourselves would listen to. We threw all of our influences into a melting pot and created a sound that represented each of us.

We're only in our infancy at the moment & have a will to progress further as time goes on but feel we've laid the foundations for what our idea of SIR REG is."

As influências vão desde Johnny Cash e Hank Williams a Dropkick Murphys, Ramones e Flogging Molly.

Em junho de 2008 o grupo lançou seu primeiro trabalho, que é intitulado "Do lúpulo ao coice" - nome que surgiu enquanto era debatido como a banda deveria ser batizada. Ufa! Eles escaparam do pior! Enfim, a demo contém 4 músicas e pode ser baixada exclusivamente na Tramavirtual.

"Hard Folk Café" (10 tracks, 2008)

"Il Pozzo di San Patrizio was started in winter 1998 in Salerno (Campania, Italy) and it is one of the most appreciated folk rock band in Europe. This is proved by the great success obtained in the Altri Tempi European Tour 2004, the tour in the Netherlands and Germany in Dicember 2005 and the partecipations at important continental manifestations: F.I.M.U., Folkwoods and Oerol Festival.

After a first approach to folk music, the band developed a style characterized by different musical influences, that create an amazing show.

The actual musical research want to reach a modern sound trough the use of acustic instruments fused to analogic effects, so a little bit of electronics, folk, upbeat guitars, but also a lot of funny rock.

The first cd is the homonym "Il Pozzo di San Patrizio" a self-production of 2001.

In 2003 the band pubblished the second CD "Altri Tempi" and, in summer 2006, the third one, "Lucidamente", for the prestigious Milan label Ethnoworld with Venus distribution.

In May 2008 Il Pozzo di San Patrizio pubblished for UPR/EDEL, the most important Italian folk rock label, the CD "Hard Folk Cafè", which contains some of the most loved hits of the band and an homage to Vasco Rossi, with the song Cosa Succede in Città, sung with Lino Vairetti, the Osanna's singer, historycal band of Italian Prog."

"Bote is a five piece original folk rock set based out of the greater Upstate, SC. With a diverse lineup of members with many differing backgrounds, the band spans many genre and utilises its unique sound to please crowds of all ages.

Bote is best described as folk-rock/celtic/fusion with hints of reggae, blues, rockabilly, and funk mixed in. Many different bands have influenced all of our members, and the end result is a solid mix of everything and anything you'd hear from hundreds of different musicians, past and present. With dueling guitars and solid rhythm, combined with melodic songs and powerful vocals, Bote is a solid tribute to both past, present, and [ideally] future folk songs and social issues.

Whether it's reeling to Tim Finnegan's Wake or waltzing through slow, rolling ballads like Harbour LeCou, Bote gives individual attention to each song we address and play live or in the studio. Our debut album, "Work and Worry," is now available directly through the band's websites and highlights a more modern acoustic folk/pop sound as a whole, although there's a good mix of about everything in our unplugged guitars too.

Our live show tends to merge into a more powerfully electric showpiece, however, and we play songs that everyone knows, and most everyone loves. We also write our own material, the highlight of our shows being our regular closing number "All Day Long."

We hope you enjoy what you hear and give a listen to more of our upcoming live cuts and, again, hopefully our follow up sophomore studio project."

"The album starts out with a roaring rendition of the timeless classic "Drunken Sailor." Layered with acoustic and electric guitars, bodhran, drums, bass, and lots of vocals, it's a fitting prelude for what is to come. Eric lights up the recording with countless takes on his guitar, the driving force behind the song. (...)

Barnacles on the Hull, another original, has been a pretty popular song since its induction into the set list last year. Though there's been a few arrangements, this one proves the most endearing to me as it feels more so like a humorous sing along than an actual song taking itself seriously. (...)

We close the album with All Day Long. This is unanimously our favourite song we did. It's not technically reggae, though some moron will no doubt toss it into that category without much thought. It's actually an original song, believe it or not, and has nothing to do with anything we sung about before it. I think it works well at the end, bashing all things commerical, political, and popular. Tom Cruise makes a surprise appearance in there. So does Oprah. And no, I'm not singing their praises."

"Craic agus Whiskey" (to be released soon)

To buy the album, contact the band. They have just uploaded new track to their MySpace page.

"The Whiskey of the Damned is a five piece Celtic influenced rock group put together by Ireland native Eoin McCarthy. Located in Milwaukee WI, The Whiskey of the Damned are a fast rising group of talented musicians dedicated to playing high energy, raucous concerts filled with an unmistakable mixture of American and Irish rock. The band is currently recording their debut album and booking a full summer and fall tour, which even though the band is relatively new has already landed prime spots in festivals such as Milwaukee’s Summerfest, Manhattan Illinois Irish fest, and Milwaukee Irish Fest to name a few. Described as a mix of The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, and Flogging Molly you do not want to miss this act perform live.

Fronted by Eoin McCarthy and Blaine McQuinn, the show never stops. Eoin has been lucky enough to be in a host of other bands and shared bills with or opened for the likes of The Violent Femmes, Dropkick Murphys, Bucket Head, Van Hunt, Gin Blossoms, Dinosaur Jr., Soul Asylum, even Flyleaf. And has been featured in movies such as The Harley 100th on brand x films, The last Dispatch and acted in a pilot for ABC called “Playback”.

Blaine McQuinn is an accomplished fiddle player, banjo and bagpipe player. He has played the violin since the age of four equaling 18 years of experience. He was introduced to the art of fiddle playing at a young age as well. His primary outlet is Irish music but has played everything from blues to country, old time to bluegrass. Blaine has a knack for wanting to learn new instruments as well which include piano, banjo, saxophone, guitar and bagpipes. Blaine has played with many different groups over the years which include Odd End Out, The Groggers, the Gadjo Players, The Cathouse Drifters, and (This Is The) Squirrel Hunters. Blaine has played at such venues as The Milwaukee Irish, Summerfest, the Miramar Theater, and The Overture Center of Madison.

On bass guitar Mr. Shawn Hoffman, Shawn comes from the sleepy northern Milwaukee suburb of Port Washington. Inspired young by the generations Punk rock culture, he knew that music was his life. Although only joining the band late summer in 2009, Shawn is no stranger to working bands. Formerly in one of the Midwest’s premier touring pop/punk bands, He feels his only home is on the road in the back of a van. Shawn has shared the stage with suck acts as "Blindside," "The Starting Line, "The Morning After," "Ludo," and "Reliant K" just to name a few. He brings his influence and energy into a band that is already overflowing with charisma and musicianship. The energy he brings from the bass that makes your stomach feel tingly will leave you pumped wanting more, and wondering "does he need a stretcher."

From the small town of Delavan WI, Timothy (T.J.) McQuinn started his drumming career at a very young age. He first picked up drumsticks at 7, now 13years later he is the solid backbone of the band. From Ska bands in high school to the whiskeys back line he has amassed a punk folk style all his own. His excitement and energy help drive the live performance from beginning to end.

An amazingly talented musician, Michael Favaro is classically trained pianist who has taken up the accordion for this band. Michael began taking classical piano lessons at the age of eight and continues to study today. Entered into several State competitions and was awarded the highest honors. He is currently enrolled in the School of Music at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater. He continues studying the piano, taking both classical and jazz lessons."
