Big corporations, politicians and greedy lawyers are killing music. That's a fact.
Celtic-Folk-Punk radio is not available through TuneIn anymore. Moreover, Radionomy has geo-blocked some countries, among them, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Russia, a lot of Asian countries and a lot of Latin American countries.
If you want to listen to our 24/7 streaming radio,
1) Got to https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/celtic-folk-punk or to http://celtic-folk-punk.playtheradio.com if you live in the EU or USA.
2) If your country is geo-blocked by radionomy, then try this tool

Why is this happning?
1) The Webcaster Settlement Act of 2009 expired in January 2016, ending a 10-year period in which smaller online radio stations, Live365 among them, could pay reduced royalties to labels. On January 31, 2016, webcasters who are governed by rules adopted by the Copyright Royalty Board were required to pay to SoundExchange an annual, nonrefundable minimum fee of $500 for each channel and station, the fee for services with greater than 100 stations or channels being $50,000 annual.
As a result, Live365 closed on January 31, at about 10pm EST.
2) At the end of February 2016, Sony Music sued online radio service Radionomy for copyright infringement.
3) TuneIn informed a lot of Radionomy stations that they won't be available through TuneIn, because they were broadcasting Sony music. BTW, we never got that message. Of course, no Sony artist is being broadcast on Celtic-Folk-Punk radio.
4) Anyway, last May 3 Radionomy sent an e-mail to all the radio stations on their platform:
"Hi All,
Following the increase of the CRB rates for the royalties in the United States and the absence of specific rates for Small Pure Play Webcasters, we are obliged to modify our streaming policy.
The new pricing system multiplies by 6 the royalties that we have to pay. We have decided to continue to discuss with the right owners to explain them the fundamental differences between a service like ours and other players in the industry. We want that they understand the utility of Internet radios stations like ours that are promoting new artists or music genres.
In order to limit our audience, the stations will not be accessible on TuneIn anymore and we have also decided to not pay stations producers for their US listening hours anymore as of May 1st 2016.
These are temporarily measures and we are confident that we will be able to revise it when a positive change with the US rates is applied.
- The Radionomy Team"

5) Last May 10, 2016 a moderator informed on the Radionomy forum that "Radionomy decided to geo-block radio stations broadcasting in some countries. These countries represent only a limited part of the audience. In these countries a specific message will be broadcast to the listeners connecting to the station"
The end for small 24/7 streaming radio station is getting closer :-(
