Swagger (Park City, Utah) mixes Irish music and rock with ska, honky tonk, and pop to create their brand of music. They have released two albums, "Trouble on the Green" (2008) followed by the 2010 release of “The Grave”. Several new songs were polished up by the addition of Eric Slaymaker on Tin Whistle & Kenny Gordon on Keyboards.
Hailing from Utah, Texas, and Illinois, Swagger is even more diverse in their musical tastes than they are in their hometowns. Using Celtic music as their template each brings influences from Jazz, Ska, Reggae, Blues, Latin, Baroque and Classical, and Progressive/Experimental Rock.
In just four years Swagger has become one of the hardest working bands in Salt Lake and has begun touring out of state in Idaho, Arizona, and Nevada. Their initial set list consisted of traditional pub tunes and favorites from the likes of the Young Dubliners, Flogging Molly, and Dropkick Murphys. Rick Butlers songwriting abilities began to flourish quickly and Swagger began to add original tunes and revamped traditional Irish music to their repetoir. Rick spins lyrical tales about Irish miners and immigrants, avenging Scottish widowers, and unintentional peeping toms and the band underscores his efforts with solid grooves and melodic passages.

Dennis Harrington - Fiddle/Vocals
Sam Cottrell - Lead Guitar/Vocals

with contributions from:
