This sampler includes four French bands, two from the South and two from the North West of the country, the Celtic area (Brittany).
1) Zapo
This band comes from the South West of France and they sing in several languages (French, Basque, Spanish and even English).
The band was founded after having seen a gig of the Spanish band Celtas cortos. At the begginning, the name was Zapozain (the man who takes care of the toads, in Basque), but when they released their third album, they changed to Zapo (toad).
One song comes from the debut album, another one for the second album, another one from the third album and six from the last one (released in 2008)

This band from Brittany released two excellent instrumental albums (Toufed Vil, Pot Velu), but the third one, with a singer and some line-up changes, Kilt ou Double, was really bad.
