The Celtic punk scene is alive and kicking in Brazil. Little by little, new bands are established in other countries such as Argentina or Chile. But so far we have only heard of a couple of (Celtic) folk-punk bands in Mexico, Lucky 7 and Old Drunks.
El Batallón de San Patricio is a 6 piece band from Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico. They just played their debut gig last Sunday.
El Batallón de San Patricio has uploaded to Bandcamp some songs recorded at their rehearsal room. One of them, a cover of Flogging Molly "Drunken Lullabies" is available as a free download.
