The Levellers will make a very special live appearance at Rhuddlan Castle Rocks in the village of Rhuddlan, North Wales, in support of the Love Hope Strength Cancer Foundation.
This is the first ever acoustic music festival at the historic Rhuddlan Castle and as well as The Levellers there will be additional music appearances from acclaimed singer songwriter Nick Harper, and Love Hope Strength Foundation co-founder Mike Peters (of The Alarm).

Love Hope Strength Foundation is the world's leading rock and roll cancer foundation and all proceeds from 'Rhuddlan Castle Rocks' will go directly to Cancer Care in North Wales, the national health service organisation which diagnosed and successfully treated Mike Peters (a two times cancer survivor) for Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) in 2005/06 and Non Hodgkins Lymphoma (1995).

Beautiful Days announce more acts including British Sea Power, Peyoti for President, Stornoway, The Popes, Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends, Thomas White, Nick Harper, Duke Special, Babylon Circus, Lupen Crook, Adam F, Sub Focus, Stereo MC’s (DJ set) and Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs. The latest additions join an already announced line-up of headliners James, The Wailers and Levellers plus Newton Faulkner, Fairport Acoustic Convention, Billy Bragg, Bellowhead, New Model Army, Easy Star All-Stars, Show of Hands, African Head Charge, The Slackers, The Alarm, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, The Aggrolites, Krafty Kuts, Citizen Fish, Dervish, Wilko Johnson, John Cooper Clarke, Shooglenifty, John Otway Big Band, The Destroyers, James Yorkston, 3 Daft Monkeys, Uiscedwr, Tankus The Henge and Ian King. Beautiful Days, which is now in its eighth year, takes place in Devon from Friday 20th to Sunday 22 August. The festival boasts live music across five stages plus a huge children’s area in the centre of the festival, walkabout theatre, amazing site art, comedy, food & craft stalls, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen, a village shop and pub-price bars run by Otter Brewery. The festival has no corporate sponsorship or branding. The festival theme for the Sunday this year is STRIPES!
The festival has also announced a competition for a new and unsigned act to win a slot on the Big Top stage at Beautiful Days 2010! They’ve teamed up with Acoustic Magazine to run a competition to win the chance to play plus the winner will also receive a Tascam portable recording studio, a DPA 4099 microphone and a Breedlove guitar. TICKETS are on sale now and weekend camping ticket prices have been held from last year. Adult weekend camping tickets are £100, 10 to under 16’s weekend camping tickets are £60, 5 to under 10’s weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5’s weekend camping tickets are £5 and car routing/parking passes are £15.
