The first band is called Sliotar. They are a trio from Dublin. Till now, they have released the following albums:

The following band is from Cork, and they are called Bog the Donkey. They are a four musicians party band.

The Shillelagh Bangers are a punk band from Dublin.

The series PaddyWhackery was nominated for three Irish Film & Television Awards in 2008 (bilingual comedy/drama series). The Shillelagh Bangers perform their classic track 'Póg mo thóin' as the credits roll


Big Bag of Sticks are from Galway. The first time I saw their name was in a Across the Border CD, as they toured together some years ago. The band has six members. They play "Original Irish Speedfolk Reggae"

Big Bag of Sticks broke-up, but there was a reunion. They keep on playing, even if they have not released any new album. Their discography is as follows:

"Thorny Bush Noise" (Cassette)

"Run Wild" (6 tracks E.P)
"Short Term Memory" (10 tracks, CD)

The last band is from Cork, Taispí. They are five musicians that play Celtic Rock.
