"Pipes and Pints signed at IHP Records, competition for a new singer and last festival summer in actual line-up.
Lets start with a good news. Despite the incomplete material we have ready for new record, we signet its future release with IHP Records (I Hate People). We are really excited about this and it is a big kick to finish it for us. For those who dont know, IHP is a record label owned by legendary punkrock patron Andre Bahr based in Germany and it is definitely a leading stable of the gener in Europe. Andre is a former founder of PLY Records (People Like You), where he disagreed, with other partners, about its future of which way should such label wend. We definitely have a same vision and we are rally looking forward the cooperation. Will keep you up about the record progress.
The bad news is that our current singer Mike decided to finish the festival season for next 3 months and than to leave the line-up. Main reason is that he cant find enough energy and passion for touring any more and also he got a long term homesick. Despite we are not happy at all about his decision and we tried everything to be able to move on with him, his decision is fully respected and we wish him good luck. Anyway situation like this is not new for us at all and we are definitely not going to slow down. Armed with many new songs to finish and full support of IHP Records we dartle in seek of new member, who would love to jump in Pipes and Pints express and to start with new touring, playing and songwriting with passion.
And thats why, Pipes and Pints proclaims competition for a new singer!
Is your English perfect or native, are you a lyricist, do you have a voice that is crushing angels wings and making rocks cry, music is everything to you and do you have some experiences behind you? Are you trying for ages to start a band that is touring the world and playing headline at great festivals over the Europe? Are you trying to get your music out at a label of a name that sounds? Having a band for life was all you always wanted to do but never had a chance? Or you already had one and lost it for any reason? Ideals of punk, GNWP and solidarity are not strange to you?
