If you have downloaded our last sampler, you will know that Gary Miller (Whisky Priests) has recently released his solo album. This is the info that Gary has forwarded about his new project:
"After several unforeseen delays, my debut solo album ‘Reflections on War’ is soon to be officially released on Whippet Records (WPTCD22) the independent record label I set up in 1988 with my twin brother Glenn for Whisky Priests and related releases.
‘Reflections on War’ came out of my involvement with the community arts project of the same name at York Art Gallery, as part of the Territories Project for York Museums Trust in 2009. I facilitated a series of songwriting and poetry workshops, as I worked with a wonderful group of people in developing an exhibition based on war-themed art and memorabilia, aswell as personal recollections. I came to write a series of songs inspired by selections of artwork and memorabilia from the exhibition, alongside personal stories related to me by various workshop participants.

I am currently in the process of establishing a new professional official website for all my musical activities as ‘Gary Miller Songs’ at: www.garymillersongs.com (coming soon). This website will include a Whippet Records Shop Page for direct ordering of various Gary Miller, Whisky Priests and related CD’s.
In the meantime, I am now taking orders for ‘Reflections on War’. The only ways for me to do this at the moment are as follows:
1. UK orders can be made direct to me via a cheque for £12 (including P&P) made out to Gary Miller at Gary Miller Songs / Whippet Records, 29 The Green, Swinton, Duns, Berwickshire TD11 3JQ, Scotland UK.
