THE HIT THE BOTTLE BOYS

Whatever happened to The Hit the Bottle Boys?

Formed in 2004, The Hit the Bottle Boys was a Philadelphia based five-piece performing a mix of traditional Irish songs and originals. Their set blended an anarchic punk energy with a genuine passion for the traditional music of Ireland and hints of American Bluegrass and Gypsy Folk.

Christian Bradley - Vocals, Fiddle, Guitar, Random acts of insanity
Mike "Hotdog" Wolfrom - Vocals, Bass, Banjo
Ed Docktor - Vocals, Mandolin, Accordion

On October 5th 2007 it was said on their website that two albums would be released on Goat Records on November 2007:

"Battle Naked" (13 tracks)
"Stagger" (13 tracks)

On their MySpace page it was said that "Battle Naked" would be released on March 2008. The page has not been updated since February 2nd 2009 and I feel that none of the albums was released.

Anyhow, their previous album (only covers) can be downloaded from their website. Enjoy!
