After some days offline due to the Season, the e-zine is back for a few days
2014 and 2015 have been very hard years. At the beginning of 2015 I decided to write less reviews. In the end the effort was the same, since 67 CDs/year were reviewed on both years and now I feel a little bit tired. Celtic Folk Punk and More has been supporting and unveiling new bands from all around the world for the last 7 years (2009-2015). I'm aware that CFPAM is not a massive e-zine; however its cult following has made it an influential e-zine. Other e-zines, mainly London Celtic Punks, are doing a fantastic job, but I felt that I had to give exposure to more new bands. On the contrary, their recordings will remain unveiled. So, even if I needed a rest, I kept on working on two fronts: featuring new CDs on the 24/7 streaming radio Celtic-Folk-Punk radio on Radionomy and posting albums/EPs reviews on the e-zine. But now I need to stop for a while.
There are some CDs that were not reviewed in 2015. I'll try to post some reviews in the following days, together with some vids. Then, Celtic Folk Punk and More will go on hiatus. How long? Some weeks? Some months? I don't know. As soon as I realize that the fun is back, Celtic Folk Punk and More will be back. Anyway, new songs will be added to the 24/7 streaming radio from time to time.
I'm sorry if you sent a CD and I was not able to write a review. However, some songs were added to the streaming radio and they will be regularly played.

I'm still crying over the loss of PaddyPunx but the loss of this blog would be just about unvearable.

DeleteAgree with everyone here. Get some rest away from the grind for awhile. I love what you do hare and have for many years. I listen to 50% of the bands that I do because of your reviews. I hope you return some day if you can find the drive to do so.
